Metropolitan EMS (MEMS) is proud to be a DOD SkillBridge partner in Arkansas, offering active-duty service members hands-on training in emergency medical services (EMS) during their final 180 days of service. Train alongside professionals at Arkansas’s leading EMS agency and gain real-world experience as an EMT or paramedic. Our End-of-Shift Approach
At Metroplitan EMS, we work hard to help our crews wrap up their shifts smoothly. Our ES (End Shift) process allows time to complete necessary wrap-up tasks like documentation, restocking, and preparing the unit so employees can head home as close to their scheduled time as possible.
While EMS is unpredictable and rare situations like major incidents or unusually high call volumes can delay the end of a shift, those moments are the exception, not the rule. Our scheduling approach is built to respect your time while also ensuring our community gets the care it needs.
